We have been uber busy over the last few months. Lots of changes for our family as well as a lot of firsts. Below are some pics of all the goings on of the Lewellings.
Ryan had to travel with his job for a week back in June. We survived, with all the glory going to Jesus! When we went to pick him up from the airport Ella carried her sign.
Micah has been hanging out some in the bumbo.
(And yes, Ella still enjoys getting in there too!)
Ella experienced the Hibachi Grill and was NOT a fan. She enjoys being cautious in new surroundings. The hot fire was a little too intrusive for her. So she chose to watch through the cracks of her fingers all the while telling the chef "bye, bye!"
Ella has learned that "boo-boos" are to be kissed. So when she saw Micah's bandaids from his shots, she needed to kiss them.
When Micah went for his 4month check-up he got in trouble for not bearing weight on his legs. So he has been having some "johnny jump up" time. He is our "I'm not in a hurry" baby.
Micah has begun teething. So he has also developed a deep love with our giraffe friend, Sophie. It's as if Ella remembers Sophie during her teething time and makes sure that when Micah is fussing that she puts Sophie within his reach. Yet when he is not interested in Sophie I find Ella holding Sophie staring at her.
Our big girl will soon be two years old. So we are transitioning her into her toddler bed. She naps there during the day then still sleeps at night in her crib. Ella took her first nap in her toddler bed on Monday. The first nap was a success! The second nap involved a fall to the floor. :(
Micah had his first meal with a spoon. He sure loved him some rice cereal.
And of course he took a moment for a big smile.
