Ella is "chew"!!

Has it really been two years?!  Really?  We can't remember life without Ella.  We celebrated Ella's birthday with her favorite character right now... George.  So Ryan and I made a Curious George cupcake cake (go team Lewelling!).  When we got her up this morning, we told her happy birthday and her response was "cake?"  When you ask her how old she is her response is not "two" but "chew".  She likes to accent her words with her own flare.  After church we went out to eat with friends and family and she got some ice cream for her birthday.  She didn't quite love all the commotion.  We are so absolutely blessed with our little girl.  She is so sensitive, loving, and playful layered with her own sense of humor that keeps us rolling.  Here are some pics of her celebration.

Went out to eat and they gave her ice cream with fireworks in it.  She's deathly afraid of fireworks... or "colors" as she calls them.

So she watched through the cracks of her fingers.

When they took the fireworks away, it was safe to come out from hiding.

And Papa C and Mama Sue always make things better!
