Deuteronomy 6:6-7

"And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise."

Ella's Food Adventures

By Ryan

A few weeks ago, we took Ella to the Hibachi. As you can tell, she didn't really like it. After the original fire she kept saying, "Hot!" Then she looked at Dustin, our cook, and told him, "Bye, bye."

So today, we thought we would try something from Japanese that was a little more low key. So it was off to the Naked Fish and their all you can eat sushi buffet to try our hand at bringing some variety to our little girl's diet (she really only eats cheese, toast, bananas, peas, and Kix--sometimes we can get some spaghetti in her). What follows is Ella's experience of her first sushi roll.

First, she didn't really know what to do with it.

"What is this thing, Daddy? I'm not so sure about this."

Finally, after a little more investigation, she tried it.

After such an exhausting adventure, when we got home, we found our little girl had worn herself out.
Disclaimer: This is NOT a bag of trash beside her, we also went to a consignment sale.
I guess when you're almost two-years-old international cuisine can have the same effect as actually going there.
